Golf Lessons in Tabernash

Grand County plays four public-access mountain courses within about 25 minutes of each other: Pole Creek in Tabernash (27 holes, ~8,600 feet), Grand Elk in Granby, Granby Ranch, and Grand Lake Golf Course, among the highest 18-hole layouts in the country. We list instructors. We are not the pro shop. This page is the Tabernash version: Cabins, aspen meadows, and the quiet stretch of the valley.

Tabernash sits between Fraser and Granby: cabins, meadows, and event sites that photograph like a catalog and drive like a Forest Service road. We deliver tents, restroom trailers, dump trailers, and stump grinders here all season. Typical delivery $90, window 8 to 11 a.m. or 12 to 4 p.m. Priced by drive distance. A local confirms the final fee before anything is booked. Flag a muddy last mile so we send the right truck.

  • Dirt roads and spring mud. Dump trailers and heavy deliveries may wait for a dry window in April and May.
  • Aspen-weekend weddings book comfort and event inventory first.
  • Wildlife and HOA quiet hours. We don't drop at 6 a.m. unless you schedule it.

Season

Typically late May through October, weather and course open. Shoulder weeks fill with second-home owners. Book the aspen-weekend playing lesson early.

Plowed county roads are fine. Unplowed driveways are a meet-at-the-gate job.

On the ground

You go to the course. Instructors do not deliver. Confirm the tee or range window with the partner after the request is accepted.
